Br!nk New Play Festival

From August 26th-September 8th I had the immense privilege of serving as a dramaturg on Inna Tsyrlin’s Stitched with a Sickle and a Hammer for the 6th Annual Br!nk New Play Festival with Renaissance Theaterworks. It was one of the most challenging plays I’ve ever worked on and all the more rewarding for it! I got to be in the room working with the team for an intense workshop process, talked directly with audiences about the process of new play development and dramaturgical practice, and make new friends and colleagues while reuniting with old ones.

It was a beautiful experience that reinforced how much I love this work and I was honored to work with a company dedicated to telling women’s stories.
